PeopleSkills helps employers handle sensitive matters where an external and objective party is needed.<\/p>

This may involve whistleblowing, information about abusive discrimination, conflicts or other conditions in the work environment that need to be investigated in a structured manner.<\/p>

The work is adapted to the case and may include interviews, documentation, analysis and reporting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Whistleblowing<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Whistleblowing is the reporting of wrongdoing in a work-related context. Protection under the Whistleblower Act requires, among other things, that the reporting concerns wrongdoing in the public interest, or certain violations of EU law.<\/p>

This means that every conflict or dissatisfaction in a workplace is not automatically a whistleblower case.<\/p>

PeopleSkills can assist organizations with the receipt, assessment and investigation of reported conditions. In such work, independence, confidentiality and a clear process are central.<\/p>

Businesses with at least 50 employees must have internal channels and procedures for whistleblowing. The persons or units that handle the reports must be independent and autonomous by law. The task can also be assigned to someone the business hires externally.<\/p>

For an external investigator, it is important that the assignment, mandate and reporting back are clear from the start. The investigator needs to be able to work objectively even when the information is sensitive or concerns people high up in the organization.<\/p>

Not all sensitive work environment matters are whistleblowing.<\/p>

PeopleSkills can also be called upon when there is information about abusive discrimination, difficulties in cooperation, conflicts or other organizational and social work environment problems that need to be better understood.<\/p>

The employer is responsible for preventing offensive discrimination and for the organizational and social work environment.<\/p>
